Abernyte School Update (Gerard McGoldrick)
• Scottish Government have called in the decision by PKC to close Abernyte School
• So, PKC have made a legal Petition to the Court of Sessions in Edinburgh against ministers disputing the call in.
• The Government have agreed to suspend the independent review whilst this court case goes forward.
• So, basically all parties have QC's who will go through the legal process and once decided the Call-In will restart. This may take a few months.
• We need to let the court case run its course and enjoy the fact that our kids continue to receive an amazing, tailored education, filled with fun, freedom and the support from our community and councillors.
