Industrial action expected to disrupt services on November 30th

 

Perth & Kinross Council anticipates that industrial action on Wednesday November 30th will cause some disruption to its services.

 

The Council website - www.pkc.gov.uk - will be kept fully updated throughout the day with information on how the action is affecting our services. We would encourage residents who use our services to check the website on November 30th.

 

People can also contact the Council's Customer Service Centre on 01738 475000 to check which services are suffering disruption on the day.

 

At the current time we have this advice for residents: 

 

* All schools and nurseries will be closed to pupils on November 30th.

* Residents who would normally have their bins emptied on the 30th are asked to put them out as usual. If they are not emptied, please take them back in and wait for the next collection date. 

* Emergency social care and child protection will be covered. More information about the provision of social care services will be issued when the level of probable disruption becomes clearer.

 

All Council buildings may be affected by the strike action. Please check the Council website before making a journey to the building or service you require.
