Perth & Kinross Community are looking to initiate a community transport scheme in the Carse of Gowrie in response to a number of residents raising this as an issue in the area, particularly for the over 50's. In order for the scheme to work they need to enlist volunteer drivers, who will be given full training and support from PKCTG. Please see the details below:

Providing voluntary transport for those in need, brings many rewards and you could be part of it!
Volunteer drivers and co-ordinators would be welcomed here in this Community!
Volunteer drivers………………….
Give as much time as they can
Use their own car and receive re-imbursement for their fuel
Ensure that people in their Community access medical appointments, opportunities and participate in Society.

Volunteer Coordinators match the passenger with the driver – we can help with administration costs and even provide a computer for your use!
