Abernyte.org and Abernyte Community Company

The Heritage Group have several Photo Albums (1988?2008), which have been assembled over the years, firstly by Mrs Etta Rennie and latterly by Rev. Tony Pepper.  They are a miscellaneous collection of photos, newspaper articles, records of achievements, ?hatched, matched and despatched? notices - in fact ANYTHING about Abernyte which residents have thought worthy of note that record the history of our community.

Tony has decided to hand over the job of "Keeper of The Books" and our thanks go to Tony and Betty for their conscientious work over the years. 

Ian and Yves Duncan of The Bield, Abernyte, have agreed to take over this job and would be grateful for your help.  If you have /see/ know /acquire any snippet of present day news that can be put in the albums please pass it on to the Duncan's (or a committee member of The Heritage Group)

In this electronic age it is essential that we continue to build an archive for the future!
