A first for Abernyte, a first for Scotland!  Come along and try Gateball, a Japanese variant of Croquet.

Gateball is played in teams, is non-contact (though you should wear enclosed shoes!), can be played by anyone (old, young, male or female) and fast paced (all over in 30 minutes).

If you'd like to give Gateball a go, come along to Carlingheugh (Pat and Ian's) on Tuesday 5th August at 3.00pm, where the court will be set up and an international expert (well - John Park, Tony and Betty Pepper's son-in-law!) ready to show you what to do.

Everyone welcome.
